Relaxed and cosmopolitan – is what characterizes East Belgium and its people 
Embedded into a Europe of various cultures since historic times, surrounded by a multitude of people, nationalities, languages, and traditions.
Component of several regions, conscious of its heritage and value, and still without Borders – this would be a fitting description of East Belgium. And this description would apply to economic life as well as tourism. But first and foremost, it applies to the people living there. Casually, they deal with nationalities and languages; casually they improvise and master the obstacles in life and business.
