Gastronomy: something for every taste Whether you like a home-cooked meal or would like to dine in one of East Belgium's “gourmet temples“, whether you prefer to live in a vacation home or in one of our wellness hotels, we can guarantee you that no wish will remain unfulfilled by your host.
East Belgium offers a very broad selection of gastronomic businesses and distinguishes itself with top level kitchens of multiple origins (Italy, Greece, France, Germany, China,...).
But the kitchens of the Eiffel also offer many things. Regional specialties can be found on almost all menus. Many gastronomic businesses are based on a long family tradition, but have remained down to earth, offering an uncomplicated and friendly hospitality.
Every year, the tourism office of East Belgium lists all businesses in its gastronomic guide, year after year.
Snacks, pastry shops, Crêperies, comfortable dining rooms or elegant restaurants, ... the locals like to mingle with the guests, and the good Belgian cooking, friendly staff, and diversity of the menu is praised everywhere.
With ambition and perseverance, some houses have fulfilled even the highest demands of renowned gourmet guides.
